THE PROJECT

A closer look

This is Paulo and Thereza’s private bathroom, a labor of love after years of designing bathrooms for various families.
Originally, this space was a bedroom in a charming 1985 house in Marietta. The couple decided to transform one of the bedrooms into this cozy, spa-like master bathroom.
Before any final touches, there was a significant plumbing and electrical installation, including running water lines, drains, and dedicated power to the new bathroom area.
The bathroom boasts tile on all walls and features an 84” Willow Vanity, a freestanding whirlpool with air and heated features from Woodbridge, and faucets, plumbing valves, towels bars, hooks, and a toilet paper holder from Delta’s Bonacci collection.
The design prioritizes a spacious transit area, ample space around the tub, and easy access to all bathroom areas.
The walls and floors are covered with MSI barri Perla 48x48” large format tiles, and the green accent tiles on the back wall are a Brazilian ceramic from Decortiles called Marrakesh Green.
The glass is fully customized by Home Glass. The shower is 48x60” and includes a spacious niche with an LED strip light, a full bench, and a shower system with a shower head, rain shower, and hand shower.
To create the curbless shower, we used a Schluter shower tray.
The result is Paulo and Thereza’s dream personal bathroom!
